Ravni chal (2,637 m), or Ravni vrah, is in Eastern Rila, on the Ibar ridge in its Belmeken section. It is a massive grassy dome with two tops; the higher, southeastern one carries a survey marker.
Its northeast slope encloses the Ravni chal cirque: eroded, rocky and vertical in places. Below lies the glacial Ravni chal lake (2,222 m), with hut Belmeken on its shore. To the southwest a saddle separates it from Sivrichal, and to the east the grassy Premkata saddle from Belmeken peak.
The climb is fairly easy: about 1 h 30 min from hut Belmeken along the winter pole markings, or about 3 hours from the Belmeken sports base via Premkata.

Late spring through early autumn (May–September) is best for Ravni chal, when trails are clear of snow and weather is most stable. Higher peaks may hold snow into June and see fresh snow as early as October. Winter visits are for experienced mountaineers with proper gear.
