Hvoynati Peak (2,632 m), also called Ovinati ("ovina" is juniper in the Bansko dialect), is a granite peak on the main ridge of northern Pirin, between Vihren and Muratov; bg.wikipedia gives 2,635 m.
To the south the sharp, rocky Vlahinski pass joins it to Muratov Vrah, and to the north the Kabata saddle joins it to Vihren; at Kabata the Vihren marble gives way to granite. The western slopes towards the Vlahina lakes are steep and grassy, and the eastern ones carry dwarf pine and deep gullies down to Ravnako and the Banderitsa riverbed.
No waymarked paths cross the summit, but it is easily climbed from Kabata or from the Vlahinski pass on paths marked with stone cairns. In winter there is serious avalanche danger on the north-eastern and eastern slopes towards the Banderitsa, and the summer paths should not be used.
The starting point is Vihren hut, reached by the road from Bansko; from there the paths lead to Kabata and Vihren.
