Vitinska Polyana (1,274 m) is a peak in the eastern part of the Murgash range of the Western Balkan, north of the Vitinya tourist dormitory. It is the highest point of Gorna Malina municipality.
The peak lies about 10 km east of Murgash peak, near the Vitinya pass. The crest of the Murgash range is flat and slowly falls to the east; to the north the slopes descend gently to the Botevgrad basin, and to the south steeply to the Saranska and Kamarska basins.
Above 700–800 m the range is covered in beech forest, while lower down sessile oak and hornbeam prevail. Beyond its position and height, the available sources give no details about the peak itself, and we found no waymarked route to it.
