Malak Sveshti plaz (1,804 m) is a peak in the western part of the Zlatitsa-Teteven mountain in the Balkan range, about 520 m northeast of Svishti plaz peak (1,888 m). Locals call the area Sveshti plaz or Sveshti plas.
Svishti plaz and its neighbours sit between Zlatitsa to the southeast and Etropole to the northwest, above the Kashana saddle and the Zlatitsa pass. To the east is Golyama Zanoga (1,819 m), to the west Kurduna. Hut Svishti plaz (about 1,480 m) is nearby.
A path runs northeast from Svishti plaz to Malak Sveshti plaz, which the main Kom – Emine route also crosses. Below Svishti plaz there were Roman gold-mining galleries in antiquity.

Late spring through early autumn (May–September) is best for Malak Sveshti plaz, when trails are clear of snow and weather is most stable. Higher peaks may hold snow into June and see fresh snow as early as October. Winter visits are for experienced mountaineers with proper gear.
