Beglichka mogila (1,481 m) is the highest peak of the Vratsa mountain, a section of the Western Balkan. It stands in the Beglichki part, the largest of the mountain's three main sections. The summit is rounded and grassy, with scattered shrubs, and easy to climb.
The most convenient start is hut Parshevitsa (about 1,260 m), 30–40 minutes from the top. An asphalt road of about 25 km leads to the hut from Vratsa. On foot the peak can also be reached from the Iskar gorge: from Oplatnya in about 3½ hours, or from Ochindol in about 4 hours, following the waymarks for hut Parshevitsa.
The summit looks over much of the Balkan range, from Kom to the Botev area, the Iskar gorge and Vitosha. Horses graze freely here and come out onto the road to the hut.

Late spring through early autumn (May–September) is best for Beglichka mogila, when trails are clear of snow and weather is most stable. Higher peaks may hold snow into June and see fresh snow as early as October. Winter visits are for experienced mountaineers with proper gear.
