Malak Mechit (2,536 m) is a peak in the Malyovitsa section of Northwest Rila, on the Malyovitsa ridge between Golyam Mechit (Mechit) to the southwest, joined by a short rocky crest, and Budachki kamak to the northeast, across a saddle.
Its northwestern slopes are steep, rocky and stony, dropping to the Golyama Lopushnitsa valley. The southeastern ones are also very steep but mostly dwarf pine and grass, running down to the deep Levi Iskar valley.
The old path from Govedartsi to the Kobilino branishte shelter and Rila Monastery crosses the massif. The summer and winter paths to Kobilino branishte have a branch to hut Malyovitsa. The summit is about 2 h 30 min from hut Mechit and 30 minutes from Mechit peak.

Late spring through early autumn (May–September) is best for Malak Mechit, when trails are clear of snow and weather is most stable. Higher peaks may hold snow into June and see fresh snow as early as October. Winter visits are for experienced mountaineers with proper gear.
