Lopushki Peak (2,697 m) is a peak in north-western Rila, on the main Malyovitsa ridge between Lovnitsa and Popova Kapa to the west and Mechit to the east. Most sources give 2,698 m.
The two Lopushki lakes lie below the summit to the north, and the streams of the Lopushnitsa, which gives the peak its name, rise beneath it. The name was adopted late, probably in the 1930s, and hikers still argue about which neighbouring summit is Lopushki and which is Popova Kapa. Mechit is about 2.5 km to the east.
The usual approach is from Mechit hut: on the old, partly ruined path to Mechit peak and then west along the ridge on a narrow path. Another option is from the Strashnoto Lake shelter over the Popovokapski pass. A loop from the Ovnarsko area up the Mala Lopushnitsa valley past the Upper Lopushko lake is about 18 km with about 1,200 m of climbing (8–9 hours); the last climb to the ridge has no path. The east face is a climbing area, and in winter the area is prone to avalanches.
Ovnarsko and the Lopushnitsa valley are above Govedartsi, in the Samokov area.
