Ochite ('The Eyes') is a short cave near the village of Lipnitsa in Botevgrad Municipality, Sofia Province, about 14 km from Botevgrad. It takes its name from its two large entrances on an exposed rocky ridge, which look like a pair of eyes from a distance and from inside.
It is about 30 m long: a single wide, high gallery with a rock column in the middle, dry underfoot, between an eastern entrance about 5.8 m wide and a western one about 4.5 m wide. There are no lit halls or dripstone chambers here. The appeal is the shape of the openings and the view out through them.
You reach the start of the eco-trail by car, then follow yellow waymarks. The path is short but has steep sections secured with ropes, so wear shoes with good grip and take care in wet weather. The Kozarnika cave is right next to it.
