Ambaritsa Hut is situated at 1520 meters above sea level in the Central Balkan Mountains, northeast of Momina Mogila Peak. It is one of the most popular hubs for hikers exploring the high ridges, offering a gateway to the famous Ambaritsa Peak and the alpine route to Golyam Kupen.
The hut complex consists of two buildings; the newer one is currently operational and welcomes guests year-round.
The hut is accessible only by foot. There are no roads for vehicles. All food and supplies are carried up manually or by Borko the horse, ensuring a serene and authentic mountain atmosphere.
