Svoge is a town in Sofia province with 6,828 inhabitants (NSI, end of 2025), in the Iskar gorge, 42 km north of Sofia and 72 km from Vratsa. It lies at 679 m where the Iskretska river meets the Iskar, at the meeting point of Mala planina, Golema planina and Ponor.

A Thracian settlement linked to the Triballi tribe is thought to have stood in today's Staro Selo quarter. Modern Svoge grew around the railway through the gorge, built in the late 19th century. It was declared a town on 7 September 1964. The poet Aleksandar Vutimski was born here; a national literary prize in his name has been awarded since 2006.
