Bachov (1,064 m), also called Bachov Vrah, is a peak in the Western Balkan between the villages of Tsarichina and Tseretsel, about 5 km west of Tseretsel and about 8 km from Svoge.
The peak lies in the hill country of the Mala and Sofiyska mountains, above the hamlets of Tsarichina and Tseretsel.
A walking loop crosses the summit: from Tsarichina through the hamlets of Busin Dol and Brego and the Naydenova Koshara area to Bachov Vrah, then on to the Eremie hamlet and Tseretselski Hancheta. The area is tied to the former mining of anthracite coal in the lands of Tsarichina, Chibaovtsi and Tseretsel; the largest mine, Stakhanov, lay in the valley between the Tsarvena Yabalka and Tseretselski Hancheta hamlets. On the way from the summit to Tseretselski Hancheta, the foundations of the ropeway that carried the coal survive in the forest.
