Rizvanitsa (2,360 m) is a massive peak in south-western Rila, on the northern ridge of that part. It has two tops, the eastern one being the true summit.
The peak lies between Tsarev vrah to the east and Musov vrah to the west, separated from them by clear saddles. Below its southern slopes is the Dobro Pole saddle, and the Rila Monastery is about 7 km away in a straight line.
The summer route described on varhove.info starts at the forestry office building on the road from Blagoevgrad to Kartalska Polyana and follows green waymarks that are easy to lose, so a GPS track is recommended. It passes the Dobro Pole saddle and the Markov Kamak megalithic sanctuary and reaches the summit from the south and east. The route is about 8.7 km and takes about 4 hours.
The starting point is on the asphalt road from Blagoevgrad to Kartalska Polyana. Bodrost hut (on a branch road) and Makedonia hut (down from Dobro Pole) are nearby.
