Orlovets (2,686 m) is a peak in north-western Rila, in the Malyovitsa massif. bg.wikipedia gives 2,685 m. Not to be confused with the Pirin peak Dzhano, which was briefly renamed Orlovets.
The peak lies west of Zliya Zab (2,678 m), joined to it by a stony saddle, with Lovnitsa on the other side of Zliya Zab. Malyovitsa is about 1.5 km away and Elenin Vrah about 1.3 km.
Orlovets, Zliya Zab and Lovnitsa are climbed from the Malyovitsa resort on the paths through Malyovitsa hut. Orlovets is the easiest of the three and about 8 m higher than Zliya Zab, and its view is as good as that of its neighbours. The two neighbouring peaks can be combined in one day with about an extra hour.
The Malyovitsa mountain centre is above Govedartsi, on the road from Samokov; an asphalt road leads to it.
