Buzludzhanska Cave is in the Central Balkan range, on the slopes below Buzludzha peak, in the lands of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality.
The Bulgarian Federation of Speleology register lists a cave named "Buzludzha" in the lands of Shipka — 100 m long, 19 m deep, at about 1,210 m. It is very likely the same cave. No detailed description or map has been published.
The cave is not developed and is not a tourist site. Going in needs a headlamp, a helmet and experience, and a rope and an experienced caver for any vertical sections. Do not disturb the bats, especially in winter.
Shipka is about 13 km from Kazanlak. From there the road climbs on towards Buzludzha.
