Bukite (1,250 m) is a low peak on the south-eastern slopes of Vitosha, about 1.3 km south-west of the village of Zheleznitsa, west of Tsareva mahala.
Zheleznitsa lies at the south-eastern foot of the mountain, on the road from Sofia to Samokov. Waymarked routes lead from the village to Kupena hut and Cherni Vrah, and to the Kokalyane Monastery.
Beyond its name, height and position, the available sources give no details about the peak, and we found no waymarked route to the summit itself.

Late spring through early autumn (May–September) is best for Bukite, when trails are clear of snow and weather is most stable. Higher peaks may hold snow into June and see fresh snow as early as October. Winter visits are for experienced mountaineers with proper gear.
