Kostina mogila (1,440 m) is the highest point of the Karkaria ridge within Peshtera municipality, in the Western Rhodopes. It lies northwest of the Sveti Konstantin summer resort, about 3 km from it.
About 800 m southwest is Vezir mogila (1,380 m), and to the south are Sveti Konstantin peak (1,436 m) and the chapel of Sts Constantine and Helena at the resort. Hut Dobra voda (about 740 m) is about 3 km northeast.
The Karkaria ridge covers the land northwest of the Stara reka valley, which crosses the municipality towards the Maritsa. We found no waymarked route to the summit itself in the sources; the nearest start is the Sveti Konstantin resort.
