Gargina is a cave entrance in the Dobrostan karst area of the Rhodopes, in the lands of the village of Dobrostan, Asenovgrad municipality — about 1.6 km east of Dobrostanski Biser Cave.
Several caves in the area are called "Gargina Dupka", after the Alpine choughs that nest in them. The Bulgarian Federation of Speleology register describes one of them, in the lands of Dobrostan, as a shaft with an entrance drop of about 15 m and a depth of 14 m. The best-known Gargina Dupka — 525 m long and protected for its bats — is near the village of Mostovo, a few kilometres south-east, and is a different cave.
The cave is not developed. Shaft caves in this area start with a vertical drop, so going in needs a rope, a helmet and an experienced caver. Do not disturb the bats.
Dobrostan is about 27 km from Asenovgrad, roughly 40 minutes by car.
