The Marina Reka eco trail is in Strandzha Nature Park, in the protected area of the same name near the village of Kosti. It is waymarked in blue and is about 3.5 km long.
It starts from the Tsarevo – Malko Tarnovo road, about 12 km from Tsarevo, where there is a small car park. The path descends to an “outdoor classroom” with information boards and continues along the Marina river, with two fords or footbridges. It takes about an hour each way. The height difference is small — about 100 m, between 154 and 258 m above sea level.
The path runs through dense vegetation with Strandzha rhododendron, which flowers in May. It links with other walking routes to the villages of Brodilovo, Bulgari and Kosti and to the Silkosia reserve.
The path is wide, short and easy — suitable for small children too.
By car on the Tsarevo – Malko Tarnovo road; the car park at the start is small and unattended.
