Tipetsa (Tipitseto) cave lies in the central Rhodopes by the Potoka hamlet of Borikovo, near Mogilitsa, Smolyan municipality. It is not near Orehovo and is not over 3 km long.
Tipitseto is a small cave formed in marble at the foot of a low rock wall. It has a single gallery about 73 m long, with almost no height difference. The entrance is semicircular and faces west. The cave served as a temporary shelter in various periods, and palaeontological test pits have turned up cave-bear bones.
About 6 km of mountain dirt road lead to the cave from Borikovo. It has been officially opened to visitors, but visits are by prior arrangement.
Borikovska cave is about 1.7 km away, and Uhlovitsa, one of the best-known show caves in the Rhodopes, is by Mogilitsa. The three combine easily into a day.
