The route leads to the ruins of Parnarovo Kale near the village of Pastrovo, Stara Zagora municipality, in the Sarnena Sredna Gora. It is about 6.7 km long, with branches.
The path follows dirt roads over the hills between the villages of Pastrovo and Sarnevets and passes Gol Mazh peak (587 m) on its way to the ruins of the fort.
We found no published archaeological study of Parnarovo Kale, so we give no date or history for the fortress. Nearby, at the Gradishte area near Sarnevets (Gradishteto peak, 673 m), are the remains of another fortress, Kaleto, dated to around the 6th century.
