Momchil Yunak hut was built in 1940 and is run by the Momchil Yunak hiking club of Momchilovtsi. Prespa hut is near the village of Manastir; Prespa peak is about an hour from it.
A moderate walk, mostly on forest roads. Because of the several alternative routes, the waymarking on the ground is confusing, so carry a map or GPS.
