Futyova cave is on the Devetaki plateau in Lovech province, between the villages of Karpachevo and Gorsko Slivovo. It is 275 m long. It is not a shaft: a long, narrow corridor leads inward from the entrance gallery, with various cave formations along it.
The cave is named after a local farmer called Futyo, who is said to have hidden his belongings in it. Prehistoric remains have also been found inside.
The start is the same as for Stalbitsa cave: follow a dirt road for about 600 m to a fork, and from there the entrance is about 800 m further. Leave the car where the dirt road begins.
The Devetaki plateau has many caves: Devetashka cave, Garvanitsa, Stalbitsa, Marata, the Waterfall cave and Boninska cave. The Krushuna waterfalls and the Urushka Maara cave are also nearby.
