Batashkata church

The Batak Church "Sveta Nedelya" (Holy Sunday), located in the town of Batak, Pazardzhik region, is far more than just a religious building. It stands as a silent, yet eloquent, witness to one of the most tragic and heroic chapters in Bulgarian history. Categorized as a museum, it is an indispensable part of Bulgaria's national memory.
