The summer path from Klisura to Yumruka peak starts in the town of Klisura and climbs north into the Balkan range. It is waymarked in yellow and about 10 km long. Its upper end is at the Vetroviya preslap saddle (about 1,570 m), about 1.3 km from the summit.
Yumruka is in the Zlatitsa-Teteven mountain, 6–7 km east-northeast of Vezhen peak. It is 1,819 m high. The summit is rocky, with sparse grass and woodland.
The Ribaritsa pass runs along its eastern foot. About 600 m north-northwest of the summit is the Holy Trinity chapel, and about a kilometre away is hut Eho. The word "summer" sets this path apart from the winter variant of the route.
