The Mirkovich House is a Revival-era house in Sliven, at 10 Dr Mirkovich Street, known as the birth house of Dr Mirkovich. It is a cultural monument of national importance and a site of the Dimitar Dobrovich Art Gallery.
The second floor holds the permanent exhibition "Old Sliven from the Palette of Dobri Dobrev" — a large collection of works by the Sliven painter, teacher and researcher Dobri Dobrev (1898–1973). The paintings show the town in the first half of the 20th century, its crafts, trades and daily life, and leading figures of its cultural life. In 2024 the exhibition was renewed — the works were arranged by theme and given information panels.
The first floor hosts temporary exhibitions and creative workshops.
The house was handed over to the gallery in the 1970s. The "Old Sliven" exhibition opened in 1974 and at first filled both floors.
It is closed on Mondays, and in winter also on Sundays. On closed days organised groups can visit by prior arrangement.
Not to be confused with the "Slivenski Bit" (Sliven Folk Life) House Museum of the Regional History Museum — a different site about 1 km away.
