The Glass Museum is in the town of Beloslav, on the shore of Lake Beloslav. It is part of the Inhom glassworks — the first glass factory in Bulgaria, opened in 1893.
The museum keeps alive the traditional methods of Beloslav glass. Visitors watch a demonstration in which the craftsmen make hand-blown pieces.
Beloslav has a long tradition of making and working glass. The museum also has the Inhom Art Glass gallery in Varna, near the Dolphinarium, where work by the Beloslav glassmakers is sold.
From Varna, take the bus towards Razdelna or Devnya, or the train, and then the town ferry across the lake — the museum is by its southern landing.
