The hike from Rozino Village to Echo Hut is one of the most picturesque and challenging adventures that Central Stara Planina (Balkan Mountains) offers in the Plovdiv region. As you gain altitude, the landscape transforms – coniferous forests give way to subalpine shrubs and open high-mountain pastures. Increasingly wide panoramic views unfold over the vast forest carpet and surrounding peaks. The breathtaking fresh air and a sense of vastness are constant companions. After approximately 4 to 5 hours of steady ascent, you will reach the coveted Echo Hut. Situated on an exposed ridge at 1670 meters above sea level, the hut offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramas towards Rila, the Rhodopes, and the endless Stara Planina ridges.
